About Us

Originally founded in 1991 by John Kay, Kays Tyres has been a part of the local Albion Park community for 27 years. In 2002, Jonathan Kent, who had just immigrated from South Africa with his family to start a new life, took ownership of Kays Tyres. He was a firm believer in supporting the local community, and has been sponsoring multiple sporting teams in the area (Albion Park Eagles, etc) and charities (McGrath Foundation) since taking ownership.

Currently, we are one of the largest locally and family owned tyre retailers and mechanical service centres in the Albion Park, Shellharbour and Wollongong Region. However, not only do we cater for all your tyre needs, but all your mechanical & trailer requirements as well, with over 25 years of experience in the industry.
